Peter Johnson
Peter Johnson was the youngest, and now one of the very few living co-workers with Rev Dr Martin Luther King, Jr at the Southern Christian Leadership Conference. Peter worked alongside Dr King, Andrew Young, John Lewis, Jesse Jackson, Ralph Abernathy and many others. He was on the frontlines of the civil rights movement, present in Selma on the Edmund Pettus Bridge, DC for the March on Washington, and many other historic moments. He has been beaten and jailed many times while prosecuting the business of human dignity and equal rights. Through it all, Peter remains a beacon of goodwill. Today, Peter works through his sizable rolodex to help those in need that come his way.
